Lets face it. During the winter its cold and batteries
quickly loose their capacity.
Riding long trials always has the potential for
break down in the middle of no where.
And then the cell phone anxiety sets in.
Whether this is your first or secondary cable, this harness is
a great inexpensive add-on.
Two tinned copper ring terminals have been provide as a standard connection method.
This can be modified by the end user.
Ex. A spade terminal to suit the final connection.
Whether your electrical system is AC or DC powered, this device will provide a clean powered USB outlet for any compliant device.
Pluggable “No Drill” Installation
No matter what you ride, drive or push, it can be installed on pretty much anything to charge or power your electronic device.

For continuous use, it is recommended to installed a secondary cable.
However since this adapter is installed quickly as a pluggable connection it can be left affixed to the machines handle bar. (most common mounting location )
Although this can be physically done.
Keep in mind that this will cause the first stage of the wire harness to draw extra current. Most of these auxiliary cables are made using (22 AWG) wire causing
additional heat.
Verify is the total power rating of this cable, and ensure it is protected at the connection with an in-line fuse.
Most vehicle electrical wire harnesses takes into consideration the future requirement to included additional powered connections.
For example; heated hand grips, thumb warmer, etc.
The connections may be just tucked away out of site.
Check your manufactures electrical drawing for further assistance.
I like to use www.babbittsonline.com for a quick cable harness check.
Its best practice to install the cable harness after the regulator. If the machine is equipped with a battery ensure the connection is after the ignition key side or the charger will eventually slowly drain the battery.
The Adrenalink charger illuminates the USB charging port with a blue LED when powered.
Yes, its bound to get wet.
The internal circuitry has been thoroughly conformal coated to prevent any water egress that would normally cause a short circuit between any of the internal components.
The input and outputs are still openly exposed, treat it as any other electrical connection.
